Bioceuticals L-Carnitine

L-carnitine, also known as levocarnitine, is a naturally occurring amino acid required for normal healthy lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. It is concentrated in cardiac and skeletal cells where it helps deliver fatty acids into mitochondria for cellular energy production.

Each Capsule Contains:
Levocarnitine tartrate
500mg equiv. to levocarnitine 340mg
Product Information:

Assists in the transport of long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria where they are oxidised for the synthesis of cellular energy.
May provide nutritional support for normal healthy heart function and peripheral vascular circulation.
Acts as an antioxidant in the cell membrane and supports healthy cell membrane integrity.
Plays a role in normal healthy sperm production, maturation and motility.

The active ingredients contained in this formula have not been shown to be contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation.
Contraindicated in chronic liver disease as this condition may impair the metabolism or increase the biosynthesis of L-carnitine.1
May increase the risk of seizures in those with a pre-existing condition.1
