Crispy Pizza

Crispy Base Pizza



4 large pita breads
150g tomato paste
Dried mixed herbs – about 2 tsp
2 x 160g cans of smoked or plain Chop-Chop chicken in a can - shredded (or cooked chicken)
1 large red onion – finely sliced
2 cups of mushrooms finely sliced
1 large red capsicum finely chopped
4 medium tomatoes sliced thinly
90g grated tasty cheese


Spread pita breads with tomato paste and scatter with mixed dried herbs. Share remaining ingredients amongst the pita breads, scattering the cheese over last.

Place on baking trays and bake at 210 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until base is crisp and lightly golden and cheese melted.


Cut pizzas in half and serve with a large salad. Makes great leftovers for lunch the next day! This recipe serves eight people.

For a healthier lunch serve with a fresh green salad.
