'Whole Foods' in America has banned the sale of Krill Oil in its stores. I've been worried about krill for a while now. it will be interesting to see what develops. A much more sustainable oil is Omega 3 fish oil - 1 Real Nutrients Capsule supplies almost 10 times the EPA and DHA of popular krill oil supplements.When implementing the ban, Whole Foods posted a statement in its stores for customers to read. “Krill are an important source of food for marine animals including penguins, seals, and whales in the Antarctic,” it said. “Declines of some predator populations in the areas where the krill fishery operates suggest that fishery management needs to better understand how to evaluate the prey requirements of other marine species in order to set sustainable catch levels for krill.” Pregnant women should be allowed to eat more fish Pregnant women should be encouraged by the Government to eat at least two portions of fish a week to reduce the risk of their children developing brain disorders, a group of leading nutrition experts have claimed.
