An estimated 140 million children in the world suffer from malnutrition, and 250,000 - 500,000 go blind from Vitamin A Deficiency every year. That’s why Real Nutrition teamed up with Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organisation dedicated to connecting vital nutrition, in the form of supplements, with children and families in need domestically and around the world.

Vitamin Angels focus on two main programs that ensure maximum impact:

Vitamin A.

An estimated 147 million children suffer from vitamin A deficiency (VAD) worldwide, a major underlying cause of child mortality and blindness around the world. However, with a simple, cost-effective vitamin A capsule each six months we can prevent VAD blindness and reduce under-five child mortality by 23%.

Multivitamins.

Essential multiple micronutrients, or multivitamins, reduce the effects of undernutrition and malnutrition in children under five. Our program offers infants and children the nutrients they need to grow up healthy, increasing their potential for educational and economic achievements in life.
